I would like to create two events using View page criteria.

  • event 1:
    • Page: visit page
    • Event name: View - Visit
    • URL example: /app/libraries/visit/9d049edc-daeb-4097-a80f-c1cdc7179dd5
  • event 2:
    • Page: register page
    • Event name: View - Register
    • URL example: /app/libraries/visit/9d049edc-daeb-4097-a80f-c1cdc7179dd5/b32dedef-13aa-4d64-ae6e-36b7d77f90d1

As you can see in the examples, View - Register  URL is a complement of View - Visit, and they are unique events. I defined events criteria as follows:

  • event 1
    • Source: Web
    • View page: /app/libraries/visit/*
    • Filter results: Path does not equal /app/libraries/visit/*/*
  • event 2
    • Source: Web
    • View page: /app/libraries/visit/*/*

When I access "visit page" the event 1 is triggered correctly.

However, when I access "register page" both event 1 and event 2 are triggered.

How can I set event 1 to not be triggered on the "register page"?

I changed event 1 filter from Path does not equal /app/libraries/visit/*/* to Path wildcard doesn’t match /app/libraries/visit/*/* and it worked. 😁
