Duplicate paths when using the Paths analysis module

Some of the common causes of seeing consecutive page view events are too broad of an event definition or hash and/or query changes.

If the page view event is capturing multiple pages using a wildcard it may be too broad and capturing more than expected. 

The other common cause is that there is a hash or query change as the suer is moving forward, but path itself may remains the same. If you look at the event definition, take a look at grouping by hash or query. You may need to add filters to the event to make sure you aren’t capturing more than expected.
