Tracking keyboard strokes / clicks

Hi,

Many interactions of our users are through using the keyboard (for navigation, selection, save, skip, and more).

I noticed these events aren’t tracked automatically (only mouse clicks are)

What is the best approach to tracking keyboard clicks / events generated by keyboard clicks?

Thanks

Hey Lior!

Thanks for posting in the community about this!

So natively, this is something that is not currently supported by Heap out of the box at the moment.

We can appreciate that a lot of users navigate using the keyboard, however there are a lot of are privacy/security concerns with tracking keyboard input as you may imagine.

Apologies for this!

our app has a keyboard shortcut ⌘k to open a search modal, is it possible to track that event? I can’t find documentation on how to do it.
