I just setup a fresh (free trial) account and installed the tag and clicked around.
Sure enough in "users-and-sessions" page I see a new user session with 72 events.
But when I click the “export-events” page it tells me to install Heap.
I was expecting to see this view
Are my expectation wrong - or is my page/account bugged?

Your expectation is not wrong, it just takes us a bit to populate that page! We like to wait to capture a bit of data so that we can truly surface the most common events on your site. If you check back now, you will likely see it populated.
