Traking if a user is returning to the same page

Hi!

I am trying to analyze a funnel to see if a user who views a page returns to finalize an order. However, I would like to filter to only include users who view the same product page. Do you have any ideas on how I can do this in Heap? As far as I understand, if I create a funnel pageview to purchase during the same day, for Heap it doesn’t matter if the purchase was done in the same product page than the pageview.

Hello Sandra,

 

Happy to help here!  Your two options are

  1. (Recommended) To create a Segment for users who viewed the product page prior. This can be in a time frame of previous day, previous 7 days or any other timeframe you are looking for. You can add more filters to refine this. 
  2. The other option is to add a filter for Users Who have Done the Product View Page in the past x days. 

This way the funnel will only include users who have done the Segment.  You can also Group by the Segment and you can see if theirs a different in conversion based on the Segment.
