How can I send custom data on click event from code?

I am trying to send some custom data and track it when a user clicks a button, but it doesn’t update regularly or doesn’t accept an object as a value to a property. Android Visual Labeling stopped working

Hello, I use visual labeling very frequently in conjunction with out Android app. As of two days ago I can no longer pair my Android device, and as a result can no longer use the visual labeler. I checked with our lead Android dev, and he is also no longer able to pair his Android device to the visual labeler. He is at a different location than me. Can you please help me figure out why this is no longer working? I rely on this feature heavily to ensure that my dashboards and graphs are accurately built. Thanks,Josh

Store user logins

Hi all,I've been looking into the Capture User State via Snapshots documentation, and I can check you use Tealium to capture this type of information.If I create a utag_data.customer_logged_insnapshot will I be able do collect the user login time? I need to know how often our users login. Can I do this with Heap or do I have to integrate our Web App with Tealium too? Best regards,Bernardo

Understand average time-taken on Journeys

I’d like to be able to leverage Journeys to understand average time taken between steps as illustrated in a Journey. I am able to map Journeys, and separately setup a bunch of average time-taken stats between specific events. Boy, it would be marvelous if I could visualize both on the same view! How can I go about thinking through this need? Thanks!

Difficulty defining events

I am having difficulty defining events. When I try to define events in the “Live Data Feed”, I keep getting a “Forbidden” error. Is this perhaps a user permissions issue or is there is something else at hand?

Heatmaps - RTL vs LTR langugaes

Mapping a multi-part form with optional steps

I’m trying to figure out the best way to map out a user funnel we have on our platform.For this context - we’re a B2B platform that allows customers to request to book an appointment with a Tattoo Artist. We have 15 questions as part of our intake form (what customers fill out to request an appointment). However, each artist can control which questions show up on their form. If they only want to ask 2 or 3 of them, we set that up in their profile, and the other questions don’t even show up to the customer. It’s essentially a 15 step journey or funnel with each step being optional (doesn’t look like it’s possible to have consecutive optional steps in a funnel or journey chart).Has anyone worked with something similar or have any ideas on the best way to map this out? Easiest solution I can think of is creating a separate chart for each of the 15 questions which would show time spent on that step, and total funnel conversion rate when that step is included in the form. Journeys Questions

Hello! So I am trying to see how users behave through journeys when viewing a single page. As you can see below I have added 2 branches. When I add a third branch the number of users for the first and second branch decrease. See below Is that normal? Since we are counting users doing a specific event why does the number change when we add another branch?

In particular, I’m looking to define an event property to extract the day of week that the event happens on, similar to DATE_PART in sql. Is this possible? Or really any kind of time parsing as a property: day of week, hour of event, etc.

Can Heap User ID be used across different platforms?

Hello everyone!I was wondering if anyone would happen to know if Heap User ID remains the same for every user between website and application? For example,Joe uses an iPhone to view our website (Heap generates a random User ID)Joe then downloads our application on the same device (Heap generates a random User ID again or uses the previously assigned User ID?)

Bug Report: User Sessions no longer visible

Hello,When trying to access the Users & Sessions tab, it seems that I keep encountering this issue and can’ t seem to be able to see the user sessions any longer. I’ve noticed this happening in the past day or so, in case this might help. Also, I tried looking for the same issue in the community forum, but it seems no one else encounters this problem. Event definition is not working for a button click

I can’t seem to get the definitions of several events right. Hopefully someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.I have a button ‘Filters’. Heap for SwiftUI not logging identifier

I’m trying to log SwiftUI views identifiers through various ways `accessibilityIdentifier`, `id`, `tag`, `accessibilityLabel` yet none are being captured by the SDK. Is this a limitation on the SDK for SwiftUI or is there a workaround? The main goal is to be able to identify these views and define events based on them.

Counting widgets on a page

I am trying to figure out if i can count somehow how many widgets are on a page.Context - Customers can add chart widgets to a page, do some config, then they have them on their dashboard.I can count the clicks on the “add widget button”, I can count the widgets they choose, and I know if they have added it to the page.What i was trying to work out is how may people have on their pages. We had a hypothesis that people would use multiples of the same widget just configured slightly differently. Unfortunately I am sort of stuck on the counting bit. ThanksMike

Filtering by UTM Source

Hello there!I’m new to Heap and I’m working on a journey to see how users interact after receiving an email (filter by UTM Source = Braze). However, the filter only allows for “initial source” and our emails are never the initial source of the interaction.Is there a way to filter by source were it is either the last interaction or any interaction coming from it? I appreciate the help!
