How to use aria labels as part of snapshot properties?

I’ve created an event tracking when a book is downloaded from our site. I want to add a snapshot property to capture the book name. The closest I have found referencing the book name is the aria-label but I can’t figure out how to use that as part of the property definition.My event is defined as a click on button.Button-module_root__8RX49 with Target Text equals Download.Here’s a screenshot from our site:

Filtering out Internal users

I have an existing segment that our internal employees will fall into sometimes, and I’d like to keep them out.I found these resources:Excluding internal users from analysis Segments overview - Internal Users (your employees)So now, I have 2 segments. One is the segment I care about, and the other is a segment which flags the internal employees properly.In the segment, how do I add a filter criteria to ensure the users are not *in* the employee segment I just created? The article implies this is possible, but I don’t see any way to do this under the Property drop down of the filter.

Visual Labeling - only selecting specific section (feat. CSS selector)

Hi, For our mobile web, I’d like to collect the clicks for each of the Bottom Menu:Home / New in / Shop / Bag / Account  - icon and text As you can see above, I can do it for ‘Home’ botton.But the rest buttons only select as whole. (picture below) Is there a way to define each without modifying the code? Or would adding a distinct CSS selector for each be the only solve? Thanks!

Live feed doesn't show my events

Hi, I am new to heap and I am trying to find selectors and create event definition via live feed. I have tried following:I can create an event definition through visual labeling but when I want to setup my live feed through “debug in live data feed”, I get error “No user id found. Try again later or contact support”. If I go straight through “Live data feed”, and use heap.userId or my IP address as filters for events, I don’t get any events in live feed.I am following this tutorial for finding selector through live feed. My heap role is `architect`. Did anyone else face this problem? What am I missing?

Automatically generated Heap reports

Does Heap offer automatically generated reports? For example, can I automatically generate a report that gets posted to slack or sent to employees emails every morning? I know that I can do this for individual charts, but can I do this for dashboards?

Fresh account: Heap says my user has 72 events, but events page is empty. Is my account bugged?

I just setup a fresh (free trial) account and installed the tag and clicked around.Sure enough in "users-and-sessions" page I see a new user session with 72 events.But when I click the “export-events” page it tells me to install Heap.I was expecting to see this viewAre my expectation wrong - or is my page/account bugged?

I am trying to install heap on my product, but also i would want to import all my historical data (events and properties) from mixpanel. Is there a way to do it? If yes, then how can we map all the events and define it to an autocaptured event on heap?

Capturing values on order confirmation page

Hi Community! New to Heap and I feel silly asking this question since it’s probably obvious. I’ve been reading through other posts and documents, yet still falling short. I’m trying to capture data on the order confirmation page - shipping charges, sub-total, and grand total. I believe snapshot properties are appropriate and have created a event to record the transaction. whenever the order confirmation page is hit and that’s working fine. Then added snapshot properties as seen belowShould I be using the xpath to define the element or some other selector? Thanks in advance and sincerely apologize if this question has been answered already.

Attribution of marketing channel by discount code

Our customers are able to use a discount code on checkout. Each of our referral partners has a unique discount code. We currently log a server-side event for all purchases, which includes the discount code used. We’d like to use the discount code to help inform the original marketing/ acquisition channel that the user came in from.e.g. if we get direct traffic, which can’t be otherwise attributed, we’d like to attribute it to the referral partner based on the discount code that was used. We’d then like to be able to report on this, so we can get a complete picture of our channels. The challenge we are encountering is that the discount code is present on the purchase Event, but I want to run the reports based on the User who made the purchase. i.e. what is the discount code used in the first purchase event for the User.How could we accomplish this in heap? or is their another approach that we could take?

S3 connection is "paused"

Measuring map data layer

Hi all,I would like to know if it’s possible or if anyone create a practice on how to log/measure users engaging with map data layers?We have similar tool to google maps, that allow users to turn on/off map layers such as satellite, traffic, transit and we would like to measure how our users using it.

Road to Admin - Roadmap for new users

Hello Heap Community!  I’m looking for some guidance - I’m brand new to Heap. Does anyone have a recommended step-by-step learning path I could take? I’ve completed a few beginner introductory courses but not sure what to touch next. My plan is to complete all courses and exams offered by Heap so I can work my way up to Admin within Alo Yoga. As a new employee here at Alo, I’ve noticed this is a good chance for me to audit/clean-up the mess within our platform. But before touching anything I want to make sure I have great foundational knowledge of Heap.  Thanks!

Property calculations

I am stuck trying to calculate something I can make it work for 1 day but not a range of days.Our product has these widgets you can add to a dashboard and as we launch new ones we want to see what the uptake is. We added some code to make a custom property that counts the number of each type of widget you have on each of your dashboards. That works perfectly and i can get the count data.Where i come unstuck is creating a chart that either misses things or overcounts.  Above is an example of what i have set up, so what i wanted to do is when someone goes to a dashboard, count the max of each type of widget they have on that day and add all the dashboards across all our users so that i can spot what is the most used widget.If i use max i get the highest of each widget but not the sum of the highest of each widget on all dashboards. So if one user has 4 of widget x on dashboard a and 5 of widget x on dashboard b I get 5. i don’t get 9. Here are some examples with their settings.I get a to

Visual Label Loading but not appearing

I try to load the visual labeler and it successfully launched the app, however the expected menu bar and actual labeling overlay do not appear. I can use my application like normal.   Repro steps: Launch Visual labeler  See this page  My application is triggered in a different tab, I can log in like normal  Heap tab closes itself No visual labeler bar shows up as would be expected
